The pitman arm does not go all the way onto the steering shaft splines... but just far enough that the nut and lock washer are even with the end of the shaft when torqued to spec. Remove the three big bolts holding the steering gear box to the frame. The bolts are available from inside the wheel well, go all the way through the frame, and screw into the steering gear box.

Obviously they put it on straight, but mine at rest is about 1/2" to the left of the centerline.
