My wife and I visited the Last Invasion Tapestry in Fishguard with some friends during a one-week stay in Pembrokeshire. The tapestry in hung in the Town Hall and tells the story of the attempted French invasion in February 1797. It took 4 years to make and 77 local people were involved in producing it.
